Thank you for a great weekend in London!

The ones who read my blog every week might have noticed by now, that I never write in English, not even a short translation. This week I am making an exception to thank Vicky for a wonderful weekend in London.

I met Vicky last May, while I was walking El Camino de Santiago. We met by chance, She was walking in front of me and was about to take the "ugly trail" to arrive to Burgos, so I shout her she should take the other path... and we walked the rest of the day together, and many days after...

When she knew I was planning to spend the weekend in London, she offered me to stay with her family in London, so I did!

I have to say that, besides visiting the National Gallery late friday when I arrived to London, it has been a non sightseeing marvelous weekend!

We went running saturday morning to Richmond park, it was amazing to run near the deers, they stared at us in such a majestic pose...I will always remember the frosted trees branches and grass under my feet...It was like a postcard!

After a short hot shower we headed towards Portobello Road Market, I wanted to buy a vintage headdress, I saw one that I loved, but it cost 165 pounds, so I ended buying a vintage brooch, from the 40's that I will use to make myself a new necklace, and we hace lunch in a cozy italian restaurant.

Sunday morning we spent the morning shopping and cooking a typical english sunday roast...

By the way, Anna Blau is making me a black headdress. I sent her some pictures to give her an idea of what I was looking for, and I will pick it up from her atelier this afternoon!!!

Have a nice week!

Olivia
